So that's it, the transfer window has slammed shut with Arsenal somehow getting the capture of Arshavin tied up around 24 hours after the deadline.
There's no doubting the Russian is a class act but did the Gunners really need him, and where on earth is Wenger going to play everyone when Fabregas and Rosicky are back to full fitness?
The Frenchman is a wonderful manager but everyone in the red half of north London was screaming for a midfielder who can put his foot in, break up play and dictate possession in the way Flamini and Vieira did in recent seasons.
They got away with it at Everton, where they grabbed a last-gasp equaliser, but I've got a feeling their title hopes will be ended this weekend at White Hart Lane of all places.
Talking of Tottenham, they ended up being the biggest spenders in the January sales, which saw Premier League clubs splash a record amount of cash despite the worldwide credit crunch.
No one really knows where Spurs get all their money from, but they signed some real class in Cudicini, Palacios, Defoe and Keane - oh and they signed Chimbonda too.
Robbie has been made skipper on his return to the Lane under Redknapp, whose troops should pull clear of the dreaded dropzone over the next 10 games.
Moneybags Man City also showed they had the green to be on the scene, but it was nice to see Stoke show them it's not all about the money with a hard-fought 1-0 win at the Brit.
Newcastle's capture of Nolan could be key to them surviving if he hits the right notes, but I really think we could see 2 established clubs relegated this season, with Pompey and Boro facing the prospect of playing in the Fizzy Pop league next season if they don't buck their ideas up.
All in all it was the craziest and busiest transfer window I've known since the concept was introduced - possibly because so many clubs are in danger of relegation so were trying to spend their way out of trouble.
Promoted trio West Brom, Stoke and Hull have certainly proved they can mix it with the big boys so it's going to be a thrilling climax, and we'll be covering every single second of it here at S4TL Towers.
