Archived tips :
Chelsea vs Liverpool
Shooter : These two lock horns as the only unbeaten teams left in the Prem, and in the past these have been cagey encounters which end in draws. Big Phil is at the Blues helm now, though, and his big guns are coming back into a side which battered Boro 5-0. Rafa's Reds are in the title mix but they've been damn lucky in recent times - I think they'll suffer their first league defeat. 2-0
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : The Prem's last two unbeaten sides go head to head in a match that will really test Liverpool's title resolve. Rafa's men, however, have yet to win at The Bridge in nine visits under the Spaniard's tenure, and although you can't see that stat changing, the possible return of Torres might inspire them to a draw. 1-1
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Away Win
Tottenham vs Bolton
Shooter : Tottenham's rot has got to stop at some point, but I don't think it will happen here as the injury and suspension-ravaged hosts are facing a rock-hard and well-organised Bolton unit that beat West Ham easily on their last trip to London. More misery for Ramos. 0-2
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : It's really becoming do-or-die for Juande Ramos and you can't believe his tenure will last any longer in the event of another defeat. Spurs will be without the suspended Michael Dawson and injured Vedran Corluka, but that should force a reshuffle and a subsequent change of tactics that will FINALLY see Spurs collect a scrappy - but very welcome - three points. 2-1
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
West Ham vs Arsenal
Shooter : Zola's honeymoon period is definitely over after back-to-back defeats by Bolton and Hull, and the goals have dried up too. The fact they're at home is of little use as the Gunners haven't far to travel and ripped Fenerbahce to pieces in the red-hot atmosphere of Istanbul, which makes Upton Park feel like a creche. 1-3 for me
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : The Gunners flexed their muscles in midweek by completely outplaying Fenerbahce in the Champions League. Young Gun Aaron Ramsey is finally beginning to get games for Arsenal and I think he could feature here in what should be another away win for the north Londoners. West Ham look fragile at the moment to me, so 0-2.
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Away Win
Portsmouth vs Fulham
Shooter : There's no doubt about it, Fulham are in deep trouble and face a long survival fight as they really are garbage on the road. They stopped a losing run with a 0-0 home draw last time out - but only just. Messrs Crouch and Defoe will be licking their lips at this one having seen their defence rediscover their solidity at Villa Park. 3-0
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Draw
Looter : The Cottagers head to Fratton Park in a shocking run of form that has seen them score just once in five games - and that solitary strike was an own goal! Regardless of that, they face a Portsmouth side who look hungry for goals with Defoe buzzing off his partnership with Crouch and you just can't see the visitors containing them, despite this being the scene of their last-day survival last season. 2-0
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Draw
Man City vs Stoke City
Shooter : Stoke are buzzing after adding to Tottenham's turmoil, but must focus on their home games as they can't really expect anything from this clash. They kept Liverpool out at Anfield and will have 10 men behind the ball again - but City have enough attacking riches to cash in against the Potters and bank all three points. 2-0
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : Beauty meets the Beast at Eastlands this weekend, and although that might be harsh on Tony Pulis' battlers, it's certainly not inaccurate. Much will depend on how Dunne and co cope with Stoke's aerial assaults and Mark Hughes will insist on a better display than the one witnessed at Newcastle. I think there'll be goals galore in this one, but I'll opt for a home win. 4-2
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
West Brom vs Hull City
Shooter : The Baggies may have been battered 4-0 by United, but looked good for an hour and were simply outclassed so won't be too down in the dumps. Hull won this fixture in the Championship last season and are flying high, but I reckon Albion have enough to grab a point. 1-1
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : The Tigers must still be pinching themselves after their dream start to the season and three wins and a draw from four away games really is the stuff of dreams. Most of those wins have come against teams who, on paper at least, are far superior to Hull, so they might need a different approach against the Baggies. That said, WBA have been much improved on their home turf and their 4-5-1 formation might just stifle the life out of this game. I'm opting for a snoozefest, 0-0.
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Away Win
Blackburn vs Middlesbro'
Shooter : Boro won their last away outing at Wigan - but no-one quite knows how as Latics should've won at a canter, which Chelsea did at The Riverside (5-0). It'll be a close encounter as Rovers have hardly made Ewood a fortress - but I think Ince will be a happy chap. 2-1
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Draw
Looter : Neither side look destined for great things this season and both enter this match in indifferent form. Blackburn's home form has been shoddy so far (one win in four), while Boro ended their away run at Wigan last time out. But Boro have defensive worries and looked woeful against Chelsea last week, so I fancy a narrow home win. 2-1
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Draw
Wigan Ath vs Aston Villa
Shooter : Heskey should be back to partner Zaki in attack against Villa, who have won twice on the road already this season. Their trio of Young, Carew and Agbonlahor will be a handful for the hosts, and I reckon they'll come away from The JJB with a hard-earned point. 2-2
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : Latics will go into this match much the fresher and still reeling from last weekend's crash-and-burn at Anfield. Villa will ring the changes from the side that face Ajax on Thursday night, but I have a sneaky feeling the JJB might not be to their liking and I can foresee a narrow home win, but this time with the fit-again Emile Heskey the hero. 2-0
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Away Win
Nottm Forest vs Cardiff
Shooter : Cardiff are right in the play-off mix but mainly thanks to their home form as they've drawn 5 of 6 on the road so far, including one at Watford in midweek. Rockbottom Forest are finding the step-up tough (1 win in 12) but I reckon they'll hold the Bluebirds. 2-2
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : The Bluebirds are flying high in the Championship but are something of draw specialists away from home this term having being held 5 times in 6 games. Forest, meanwhile, look in all kinds of trouble and are really struggling to score goals. Ross McCormack looks to be the man for Cardiff and I reckon he'll help the Welshmen to all three points. 0-2
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Away Win
Reading vs Q.P.R.
Shooter : The Royals made hard work of downing Doncaster in midweek, but did it and that's all that matters, making it 6 wins out of 6 at home. QPR are struggling to get some momentum going on their travels, having lost 3 of 6, and I think they'll come undone here too. 2-1
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Draw
Looter : The Royals have been in imperious form on their home turf this season and made it 6 from 6 with the midweek win over Doncaster. QPR are fancied to be there or thereabouts this term, but look poor away from home with just 1 win from 6 on their travels. It's hard to look beyond the Royals here, so why even consider anything other than a home win. 3-1
