Aston Villa vs Fulham
Shooter : If Villa had been playing in Europe in midweek, I might have fancied Fulham to replicate the point they picked up at Anfield. But O'Neill's troops will be fresh as a daisy and keen to hang on to fourth place in the table. A hard-fought home win for me. 2-1
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Draw
Looter : Villa are flying right now and go into this match having beaten Arsenal and held Man United in their last two matches. But Fulham drew at Liverpool last time out and can repeat that scoreline with a similar display. 0-0
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Draw
Middlesbro' vs Newcastle
Shooter : Newcastle parked the bus at Stamford Bridge and got a point, but Kinnear might gamble a bit more against a Boro side reeling from a home battering by Bolton. There's pride and bragging rights on the line in this North-East derby, and I fancy a 1-1 draw.
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Draw
Looter : Passions will be high in the Tees-Tyne derby and it's Middlesbrough who are riding higher in the table. But Newcastle have only lost twice under Joe Kinnear's charge and I have a sneaky feeling their additional firepower and new-found will-to-win might help them edge a victory. 1-2
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Draw
Stoke City vs Hull City
Shooter : Tony Pulis' Potters have one of the best home records in the division (winning 5 of 7 games) and their vociferous fans make the Brit a fortress of noise. But Hull have been strong on their travels so far, and dug deep for a point at Pompey last time out. I reckon 1-1.
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Draw
Looter : Stoke's home form so far has been sensational with Villa, Spurs, Arsenal, Sunderland and WBA all being swept aside at The Brit. But Hull have remarkable fighting qualities on the road having only lost once at Old Trafford and I think they can pinch a point here too. 1-1
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Draw
Sunderland vs Bolton
Shooter : The Trotters have now won more games on the road than at The Reebok, and swept aside Boro with consummate ease. They're always hard to break down and are facing a Cats side sliding down the table whose confidence has drained away. I reckon 1-2 to the visitors.
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : The Black Cats have been shoddy on their own patch this term having lost four of their seven games at home. But Bolton are a mixed bag on the road too having won three and lost four. Both sides aren't really keeping clean sheets but I think Bolton have found the winning knack and can pick up three more points here. 1-2
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Away Win
Wigan Ath vs West Brom
Shooter : Albion have been getting away with their rotten form thanks to other teams struggling, but Wigan's win over Everton on Monday means they head to The JJB knowing they HAVE to bank all three points. I reckon they'll sneak a scrappy 1-0 win through sheer desperation.
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : Latics picked up only their second home win of the season against Everton on Monday but that form probably doesn't do their performances this season justice. WBA aren't much good at the back or in attack, so if Wigan can keep it clean, I think they'll ease to a comfortable win. 2-0
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Chelsea vs Arsenal
Shooter : Big Phil's Blues failed to break down the Toon defence but the Gunners realistically need a win to get back in the title race so should have a bit more attacking intent. Cesc is now skipper but they've already lost 3 on the road this season, and I think they might be knocked out as contenders by a narrow win for the hosts. 2-1 with Anelka netting against his former club.
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : Arsenal brought about the end to a troublesome few days with a win over Dynamo Kiev on Tuesday, but there's no disguising that 5 league defeats already means their title challenge is already over. Chelsea messed up against Newcastle last time out in the league, but won't let the Gunners off the hook and should claim the points in what might be a scrappy affair. 1-0
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Away Win
Man City vs Man Utd
Shooter : Both teams were involved in midweek Euro action, but trips to Spain and Germany won't have been too sapping and I reckon this will be a belter. Hughes will be desperate to outfox Fergie, and the likes of Robinho and SWP will be keen to outshine Roo and Ron. United aren't quite clicking at the moment, so I'm going for a shock 2-1 City win!
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : City did the double over United last term and will have high hopes of claiming the win after their success against Arsenal last week. Stephen Ireland has been key to everything good City have done this term, but I expect Carrick to give him no time on the ball and help United to avenge last season's misery. 1-2
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Away Win
Portsmouth vs Blackburn
Shooter : This will be something of a comedown for Adams' family after facing the might of Milan in midweek - but Rovers are set for a long survival battle and are the worst form team of the division. The hosts may miss Defoe but have enough firepower to bag all three points, so I'm going for 2-0.
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : It's all gone Pete Tong for Blackburn and Paul Ince in recent weeks and 13 goals conceded in seven away games illustrates their struggles. Pompey look likely to be without Jermain Defoe and may have exerted themselves in midweek against AC Milan, so I think Blackburn could cause a shock in what may be a high-scoring affair. 2-3
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Tottenham vs Everton
Shooter : The Toffees head to White Hart Lane on the back of a shocking defeat by lowly Wigan at The JJB, and face a Tottenham team totally on the march under Harry Redknapp. Spurs are scoring freely, but also showed against Blackburn that they can dig out results if needed. 2-0 for me
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : The Toffees may boast the third best away record in the division but what the stats won't tell you is that 3 of their 4 wins on the road have been at the 3 promoted sides. Tottenham are clearly looking more solid under Redknapp's tenure but I think he may have to settle for a share of the spoils here. 2-2
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Away Win
Preston NE vs Bristol City
Shooter : Bristol City head to Deepdale with a decent away record, having won 4 and drawn 2 of 9 on the road. But the Lilywhites are no mugs at home, having won 6 of 9 games so far. They've only dealt in wins or defeats but I reckon this will be their first home draw of the season. 2-2
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : Funny team Preston. They have enjoyed great runs of form, followed by a woeful sequence of results. At the moment, a run of four games unbeaten suggests it's 'Good Times' for Alan Irvine's troops, so it may be worth backing them to keep the run going against Bristol City, who have won 4 but lost 3 on the road. 2-1
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Home Win
