Liverpool vs Chelsea
Shooter : Well this is being billed as a tussle between title contenders but for me it's a one-horse race so these two are fighting for 2nd place. There's never many goals in this fixture and Liverpool won at the Bridge back when they were in decent form. Both sides are stuttering in the face of United's pressure, so I'll go for 1-1.
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : Very tough match to call, and the Blues will be hell-bent on revenge after the Reds destroyed their lengthy unbeaten home run earlier in the season. Neither side can afford to slip up in their pursuit of Man United so I'll stick with a 1-1 stalemate.
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Home Win
Newcastle vs Sunderland
Shooter : I've got a sneaky feeling the Magpies might get relegated this season, and losing Owen and Barton hasn't helped matters at all. Kinnear looks out of his depth now and Given seems to be on his way, so it's all doom and gloom at the Toon. I fancy the Black Cats to pocket a 4th away win of the season. 0-2
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Draw
Looter : The Magpies have a horrible run-in at the end of the season and could yet be surprise relegation fodder if results don't improve soon. Sunderland at home represents a real must-win affair for Joe Kinnear's side - and I think they'll get one. But only just. 1-0
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Draw
Aston Villa vs Wigan Ath
Shooter : I had money on Heskey to score in a 1-0 Villa win in midweek, and I might go for the same here! He's slotted in perfectly to Villa's set-up and will be itching to make it 2 in 2 against his former club. Latics held Liverpool but have lost 6 on the road so far, make that 7 after this one as Villa are strong home and away. 2-0
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Draw
Looter : Latics were surprise winners in this clash last season, and Villa have yet to beat Wigan at home since their elevation into the top flight. That said, I think Heskey will be determined to get one over his old team-mates, and what price on him to score in a Villa win. 2-0 for me.
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Draw
Bolton vs Tottenham
Shooter : Tottenham love life at The Lane, but have struggled on their travels so far, losing 7 of 11 games. They looked mesmerising against Stoke, though, and with Palacios adding bite to their midfield, I can see them beating a Bolton team whose manager Megson is at war with the club's fans after calling them 'pathetic'. The Trotters have lost 6 of 11 at The Reebok, so I'm going for 1-2.
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : You wouldn't want to be in Harry Redknapp's shoes if they lose this - and the table might make scary old reading if they don't get the win they crave. Remarkably, Spurs have yet to win in seven league trips to The Reebok (Bolton winning 5, with 2 draws) and I think they can stick the knife into their survival hopes again. 2-1
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Fulham vs Portsmouth
Shooter : The alarm bells are ringing on the South Coast and Pompey are in freefall under Adams. They're really missing Defoe's goals and confidence is really low. Fulham have won the same amount of home games as Chelsea and Liverpool, and although they've sold Bullard I think they've got enough to pocket all three points. 2-0
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : Like Take That, Tony Adams this week urged the Portsmouth board to 'have a little patience' but just how much they are willing to show him could depend on the result here. Pompey are boosted by some decent additions this week and I think those new boys could play a part in a decent point on the road. 1-1 for me.
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Home Win
Hull City vs West Brom
Shooter : The Baggies may be in bottom spot after being battered by United in midweek - but don't be fooled as they've playing with plenty of confidence and have won 3 in 6 games. Hull have been dire in recent games, and although boosted by Bullard's arrival, and I think Albion can secure a shock away win with Jay Simpson their hero. 1-2
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Draw
Looter : The Tigers are in dreadful form of late and are getting sucked ever closer to that drop zone. The Baggies on the other hand have been much improved, though are still pretty dire on their travels (with just one away win, and a shocking nine defeats). Greening is a big loss for them, but I still think they'll pocket a point. 2-2
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Draw
Middlesbro' vs Blackburn
Shooter : I think it's going to be a bad season for the North-East, with Boro also under serious threat of the dreaded drop. They simply don't look like scoring and have a shocking midfield. Rovers are unbeaten under Big Sam and buzzing after their derby comeback, so it's 0-2 for me.
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Draw
Looter : Blackburn seem to be spending as much time in the north-east as they do in east Lancs these days, such has been their fixture list of late. And I expect them to feel right at home at The Riverside, where Boro seem to be going from bad to worse. Blackburn are keeping things tight at the back, so I think they'll snare a 1-0 triumph here.
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Draw
Derby vs Coventry
Shooter : It's fair to say it's hardly been a dream start for Nigel Clough at the Derby helm, and they lost again in midweek. The Sky Blues also lost on Tuesday, but Cardiff are a class act, and Coleman keeps them nice and tight on the road. I'm going for a 0-0 or 1-1 draw.
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : A Midlands derby that hardly whets the appetite, but nonetheless a match that either side can really afford to lose. Coventry look destined for mid-table nothingness this year but Derby - who look a far better cup side this term - have been poor in the league and I think they may lose again here. 1-2
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Sheff Weds vs Birmingham City
Shooter : Birmingham bagged a hard-fought 1-0 win in midweek against Cov, but don't fare so well on the road and are a tad too defensive for my liking. The Owls are very strong at home, having won 8 and only lost twice. I fancy Law's men to secure a 'shock' 2-1 win here.
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Draw
Looter : The knives are being sharpened for Alex McLeish, which seems a bit silly for me because I still think Blues can go up this season. A trip to Hillsborough is never easy, but Birmingham have won the last six meetings between the sides and I think they'll be in seventh heaven after this one. 0-2
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Draw
Arsenal vs West Ham
Shooter : The Gunners are clinging on to their top-four hopes by their fingernails, never mind all this ridiculous title talk. They pinched a lucky point at Goodison, and welcome a West Ham team full of flair, confidence and goals to the Emirates. The Hammers are playing some wonderful football under Zola, so I'm going for 2-2.
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Draw
Looter : Derby matches are never easy to predict, and West Ham will still have fond memories of this clash two seasons ago on their way to Premier League survival. A win might be just beyond them again, but having held Chelsea and Liverpool away already this season, I think they'll come with a game-plan that could stifle the Gunners. 0-0
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Draw
