Blackburn vs Coventry
Shooter : Rovers have improved under Big Sam but are still in trouble in the Prem after just 3 league wins at Ewood. 1987 cup winners Cov arrive with a mean defence that has conceded just 18 goals in 14 league games, so I think they'll leave Lancashire with a replay. 1-1
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Draw
Looter : A Michael Mifsud-inspired Coventry were winners in the cup here around the same time last season, but they'll be two very different sides taking to the field in this one. Blackburn will be looking to bounce back from their defeat to Aston Villa last week, and I think they will - just. 2-1
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Draw
Sheff Utd vs Hull City
Shooter : These two might be in different divisions but the Blades are pushing for promotion and the Tigers have lost some of the top-tier bite in recent games so it should be a close game. United are strong at Bramall Lane and Hull's priorities will be the Prem and avoiding a replay no matter what. 2-1 for me
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Draw
Looter : They might be a division separating these two, but for me, Shefield United - being on home turf - look good to make progress here. Hull have earned draws at Chelsea and Liverpool, plus wins at Arsenal and Spurs, so might find going to Bramall Lane a comedown. 2-1
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Draw
West Ham vs Middlesbro'
Shooter : The Hammers' decent little run came to an end in a 1-0 league defeat by the champions, but that won't have dented their confidence and they'll be full of bubbles when Boro roll into town. The Teessiders are terrible on the road (9 defeats in 13) and should be easily overpowered by Zola's hosts. 3-0
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Draw
Looter : It's going from bad to worse for Middlesbrough, with the side now not having scored in three league games. A win in this one is not impossible as they've been going well in the cup and I think they'll again play without the shackles of relegation. And Middlesbrough will be fresher with many of West Ham's stars being on England duty in midweek. 1-2
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Draw
Everton vs Aston Villa
Shooter : The Toffees will be gunning for revenge after Villa's last-gasp win at Goodison earlier this season - but they've tightened up at the back since that game, with Jagielka and Lescott proving an awesome pairing at the back. It'll be a well-matched affair, 1-1 I reckon.
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : The Toffees will still have bitter memories of the recent 3-2 home defeat to Villa and will be eager to make amends. And David Moyes' side are in good nick too, having held Liverpool three times over 90 minutes and then thrashed Bolton. Villa's focus surely has to be the league, so it's a home win here for me. 2-1
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Derby vs Man Utd
Shooter : The Rams have really picked up under Clough and have fond memories of beating United 1-0 in the Carling Cup first leg semi. The visitors, however, are starting to talk about an unprecendented Quadruple, and when you don't concede ANY goals, you tend to win matches. 0-2
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : It's not long since these two clashed in the Carling Cup semis. The Rams managed to inflict a 1-0 defeat on a second-string Reds side that day, but their goal led a charmed life and you just cannot see them having the same luck against the same opponents. 1-3
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Away Win
Celtic vs Rangers
Shooter : The Bhoys might be leading the way in the SPL but all is not well with the champions, who are scrapping with themselves or the gaffer half the time. The Gers can go top with a win and have all the momentum heading into this titanic clash, so I'm going for a shock away victory for Walter Smith's men. 1-2
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Draw
Looter : This match is as big as it gets, with a Celtic win possibly meaning doom to Rangers' title hopes. With that in mind, I don't think they'll allow their opponents much space, and with goals at a premium in this fixture, I'm edging towards a 0-0 draw.
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Draw
Portsmouth vs Man City
Shooter : It's a good job City are as strong at home as they are cos they're garbage on the road (just 1 win in 11 and 6 defeats). They face managerless Pompey who were very unlucky against Liverpool - and with talk of Sven taking the reins, I think the hosts will be looking to impress and will pick up a 5th home league win. 2-1
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : City have risen to the lofty heights of ninth on the back of some decent results of late. That said, they still have an atrocious away record with just one win under their belts. Pompey may be looking to persuade Sven to jump on board though, so I think this looks a certain score draw. 1-1
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Home Win
Watford vs Chelsea
Shooter : Chelsea have lost their way in recent weeks, and Big Phil paid the price for that with his dismissal. Hiddink is taking the reins so the Blues star will be hoping to impress their new incoming boss, and should have too much class and quality for a Watford side stranded in the Championship relegation zone. The Hornets are strong at home so it'll be a good game and I reckon they'll score. 1-3 for me
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : John Terry has confessed that the Chelsea team is divided, and it'll take a lot of hard work from whomever takes charge of the team long-term. For me, they probably have too many big names who don't justify their wages, but one of those, Michael Ballack, has a good cup scoring record and I think he'll edge them through a very tight encounter. 0-1
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Away Win
Doncaster vs Sheff Weds
Shooter : The Owls have flown up the table in recent games but head into this Yorkshire derby with a pretty poor away record (3 wins, 9 defeats in 16 games). Thankfully for them Donny struggle for home goals (just 7 scored in 14 games) so I'm plumping for a 1-1 draw.
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : Derby games are extremely tough to call, but both sides go into this fixture on the back of some pleasing recent results. But neither side can really consider themselves safe from relegation so I think a scrappy affair may end in a stalemate. 1-1
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Home Win
Preston NE vs Norwich
Shooter : Preston are looking well-set for a play-off spot, mainly thanks to their awesome Deepdale form (11 wins in 16). Visiting Norwich have improved under new gaffer Gunn, but arrive having lost 10/16 on the road and struggling to keep the goals out. 2-0 for me.
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : PNE can boast as many home wins this term as league leaders Wolves, and having drawn their last home clash (against lowly Plymouth) will be busting a gut to get back on track. Norwich have added former hero Jason Shackell to their ranks this week though and I think he could make it tough for the hosts to break through. PNE should make it though - albeit via a late win. 1-0
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Home Win
