Archived tips :
Fulham vs Man Utd
Shooter : Fulham's home form was pretty rock-solid until Hull turned up in midweek and stunned them with a 1-0 win. United, meanwhile, have won 11 on the trot in the Prem, and after winning the Carling Cup they're taking the FA Cup seriously too as they seem hell-bent on winning a famous quintuple. They're unstoppable right now, so 0-2 for me.
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : United get their bid for a 'sextuplet' (or whatever it is) back on the road in their FA Cup quarter-final clash at Fulham. The Cottagers were humbled by Hull in midweek so will know they have to perform better. But 12 wins in 13 games tells it's own story, so I'm pressed to back against the Red Devils. 0-2
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Away Win
Sunderland vs Tottenham
Shooter : The only Prem game of the weekend sees Tottenham head to Wearside having hit Boro for four at the Lane in midweek. 4-0 was a very flattering scoreline, though, and Spurs - like all Redknapp teams - struggle on the road, so I think a win for the Black Cats. 2-0
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Draw
Looter : The manner of Tottenham's midweek mauling of Middlesbrough will have surprised many, but not yours truly, who has been waiting for Spurs to give someone a beating since the return of Robbie Keane. Sunderland are probably just two wins away from survival, so will make it tough, so I'll opt for a score draw. 1-1
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Draw
Everton vs Middlesbro'
Shooter : Boro's recent resurgence came to a halt in a 4-0 defeat at Tottenham but the scoreline was harsh on the Teessiders, who played well and had a few goals ruled out. Everton were outplayed by West Brom at Goodison but ground out the win - with Anichebe added to their casualty list I think they'll be held to a draw. 1-1
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : I've never been the greatest fan of Everton's work, but I am honest enough to admit that I've been highly impressed with Moyes' team this season. They don't have the biggest squad, but after wins over Villa and Liverpool in previous rounds, they deserve their place here on merit. Boro were battered in midweek, and although I think they'll run the Toffees close, I can only see one outcome. 2-1
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Arsenal vs Burnley
Shooter : It seems Burnley's squad are starting to feel the strain of a long campaign with a small squad, while the Gunners put their scoring boots on at The Hawthorns in midweek. The Wenger boys seem to be hitting the right note at the right time on all fronts as they chase down Villa, and I think they'll clip the Clarets. 2-1
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : The Gunners will need no reminding of the fact that Burnley KO'd them from the League Cup recently, so I expect they'll be on their guard in this one. They're finally back in goalscoring form too, and with the FA Cup probably representing their best chance of a trophy, I'll pin my hat on them to ease past the Clarets. 3-1
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Nottm Forest vs Swansea
Shooter : Swansea have drawn a staggering 17 of 35 Championship games so far this season, with their most recent at Derby in midweek. The safe bet is another draw here - but Forest will buoyed by their win over Preston last time out, and I think they'll win again here. 2-1
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Draw
Looter : Forest are a funny team to predict, but the home win over Preston in midweek shows they are pretty useful on their home turf. But Swans are the draw specialists of the division and I can see another stalemate here. 2-2
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Draw
Charlton vs Watford
Shooter : It's hard to see how Charlton can get out of trouble now as they're a monster 12 points from safety and lost to Doncaster at The Valley in midweek. They play hosts to a struggling Watford team who lost at Plymouth - their 12th away defeat - so I'm going for a draw. 1-1
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : Games are running out for Charlton and it seems insane that a club of this standing are staring down the barrel of relegation to League One. But the midweek setback against Doncaster seems to have killed their recent mini-revival and they'll find it hard to lift themselves for this one. Watford aren't great on the road, but could pinch the points here. 1-2
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Away Win
Plymouth Argyle vs Reading
Shooter : Argyle can be a handful at Home Park and stung the Hornets in midweek with a 2-1 win. The Royals, meanwhile, secured a controversial win at Hillsborough. It'll be a good footballing game between two passing teams so I'm going for a 2-2 draw.
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Draw
Looter : The Royals finally returned to winning ways with their midweek success at Sheffield Wednesday and it's another lengthy road trip for them - this time to deepest Devon. Plymouth have recently hit a good spell on their own patch though, so could hold Reading to a draw. 1-1
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Draw
Q.P.R. vs Sheff Utd
Shooter : The Blades have really found the knack of performing on the road, having tasted victory 8 times and drawn 4 in 18 away games - their latest win coming at Coventry in midweek. QPR are pretty tasty at home, though, having won 9, drawn 4 and lost 4, so I'm going for 2-2.
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Draw
Looter : QPR were the pre-season favourites to win the Championship - a status I never quite shared with the bookmakers. And as things stand, they look likely to struggle to seal a play-off spot. One of the sides they will need to close down are the Blades, but Blackwell's team are bang in form at the moment, so definitely won't lose here. This has all the hallmarks of an away win for me. 0-2
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Draw
Sheff Weds vs Wolves
Shooter : The big games are coming thick and fast for Wednesday having welcomed Reading to Molineux in midweek and losing to the Royals. The league leaders arrive lifted by their narrow win at Palace, and I fancy McCarthy's men to leave Sheffield with all three points. 1-2
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : The Owls will have felt quite rightly robbed of a point at least from their midweek clash with Reading, but will fancy their chances of going one better against Wolves. Mick McCarthy's men finally returned to winning ways in midweek (and now have just two wins in 13 games), and will be bang up for a repeat scoreline as they achieved at Palace. 0-1
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Away Win
Cardiff vs Doncaster
Shooter : Doncaster pocketed all three points at The Valley in midweek, but they face a different beast in Cardiff to Charlton as the Bluebirds are flying towards promotion and tore the Tykes to pieces in a 3-1 midweek win. Should be an entertaining game, but I fancy 2-0.
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : Two of the division's in-form teams meet at Ninian Park, and while Donny have to be admired for their excellent football, there's sometimes not much substance of end result to their play. Cardiff, for me, with just one defeat in 12, look very strong at home and I think they'll bag the points again. 2-1
