Man City vs Blackburn
Shooter : Blackburn earned some breathing space in their relegation battle with a vital win over Wigan, while Man City finally arrested their dismal away form with a fine victory at Goodison. This all adds up to a 12th home win for the hosts in my book, and I reckon it'll be 2-0.
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : Rovers probably need one more win to be safe from the drop, though in all likelihood, a point would probably do. And I think they can bag that from the short trip to Eastlands, even though City will be boosted by their win at Everton last time around. 1-1
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Home Win
Portsmouth vs Arsenal
Shooter : It'll be interesting to see the Arsenal team sheet at Fratton Park as the Gunners get ready for round two of the titanic clash with United in the CL semi-final. Pompey have pulled clear of danger so will be more relaxed, and fancy them to pinch a point here. 0-0 or 1-1
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : Pompey can go into this match in fantastic form having only lost 3 times in 11 games (against Liverpool, Chelsea and Man United). Arsenal are likely to be feeling leggy after their energy-sapping clash at Old Trafford in midweek, so this, for me, has draw written all over it. 1-1
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Away Win
Stoke City vs West Ham
Shooter : The Potters have won as many home games as Chelsea this season, and their poor away form doesn't seem to affect their form at The Brit. The Hammers are blowing bubbles up in 8th but are running out of steam, so I'm going for a 10th home win for Stoke - 1-0.
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : 'Go on you rip-roaring Potters' chant the Stoke fans, and it's with good reason after a fabulous debut season in the Prem. One more win can make them safe, and although the Hammers are chasing Europe, I don't think they will like Stoke's up-and-at-them style. Home win for me here - and I think their best yet. 3-0
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Away Win
Tottenham vs West Brom
Shooter : It'll be interesting to see how Spurs respond to their second-half capitulation at Old Trafford as they realistically have little to play for. Albion beat Sunderland 3-0 last time out and tend to respond well to their rare wins, so I'm going for a 2-2 draw.
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : All of a sudden, the Great Escape might (just might!) be on for West Brom. If they are to achieve it, they need a point at least from the trip to White Hart Lane. Spurs are chasing Europe, but I think a 7th-placed finish would flatter them, so I'll tip up a shock Albion triumph. 1-2
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Wigan Ath vs Bolton
Shooter : The Latics are all-but safe but Bruce will want three more points to make survival sure and will target this game as a perfect chance. The Trotters are far from hot away from The Reebok (11 defeats in 17) so I think Wigan will lap up this Lancashire hotpot. 2-0
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Draw
Looter : Wigan are desperately short of goals, and that's been the real reason behind their recent slump that has seen them lose three straight games. Bolton are pretty much safe from the drop, but will make sure of their safety with a point at the soon-to-be rebranded DW Stadium. 0-0
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Draw
Liverpool vs Newcastle
Shooter : Rafa's Reds are full of goals at the moment and will remember fondly smashing 5 past the Magpies at St James' Park earlier this season. Shearer's lack of experience is evident for the toothless Toon, who I reckon are going to get routed again at Anfield. 4 or 5-0.
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : You couldn't really hand Newcastle a more tricky away assignment at this stage of the season, given that by the time kick-off comes around, Liverpool could be six points adrift of Man United. Newcastle looked full of heart and energy on Monday evening, but their lack of confidence and lack of goals will let them down again. 2-0
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Sunderland vs Everton
Shooter : I think the Toffees were distracted by thoughts of reaching the FA Cup final in their shock Goodison defeat to Man City, but Moyes is too good a manager to let them dwell for too long. Sunderland were so poor at The Hawthorns that I'm going for a 2-1 away win.
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : Ricky Sbragia has been showing his Black Cats a few X-rated films this week, but it's not the '900 channels' they're tuning into, oh no: it's a copy of their performance at West Brom last week. They surely can't play any worse, but Everton are the masters of the away-win smash-and-grab and I think they'll do the same here. 0-1
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Away Win
Crystal Palace vs Sheff Utd
Shooter : Palace boss Neil Warnock has no real axe to grind having chosen to leave the Blades on good terms, and I think he'd love to see them back in the Prem. United are in a magnificent run of form and have all the momentum - I think they'll snatch second place. 0-2
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Draw
Looter : It's all to play for in the Championship this weekend and I don't think Neil Warnock will put up much of a fight when former club Sheffield United roll into SE London. Warnock is still bitter about the Blades' demise after 'Tevez-gate' so I don't expect the Eagles to put up that much of a fight. Away win for me here I think. 0-2
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Draw
Reading vs Birmingham City
Shooter : I can't see Birmingham being able to shake the feeling that they blew their chance against Preston last week, and all the Royals can do is win and keep their fingers crossed. It'll be an electric atmosphere with everyone keeping track of the Selhurst Park score. Reading are rock-solid and full of goals at home - 2-1 for me.
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : Both sides have automatic promotion hopes and could well end up playing again in the play-offs if neither goes up. Reading are in better form and I think they'll beat Birmingham after getting the victory they need - but will it be enough for automatic promotion? 2-1
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Away Win
Sheff Weds vs Cardiff
Shooter : The Bluebirds need a point to make sure they soar into the play-offs, and having already drawn 12 of 22 on the road this season, I fancy them to get it against an Owls team who have nothing but pride to play for due to their current 12th-placed position. 2-2
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : Cardiff were spanked 6-0 on their last away day and will be eager to avoid a repeat heading into the play-offs. I think Dave Jones will whip his side into shape and I don't think they'll lose. But with Wednesday gunning for a top-half finish, I fancy a 0-0 draw here.
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Home Win
