Arsenal vs Portsmouth
Shooter : It's early days I know but these two are already tussling at opposite ends of the table, and that won't change as this will be a routine home win for the free-scoring Gunners. Losing Adebayor and Toure seems to have somehow strengthened Wenger's men, while Pompey are set for a long hard relegation battle. 3-0
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : Pompey are in free-fall so will definitely see a point from this one as a bonus. However the Gunners are flying at the moment and are scoring goals for fun - it's a nailed-on home win for me this one. 3-0
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Birmingham City vs Stoke City
Shooter : Don't be hanging around on Saturday night for this one on Match of the Day, as both Pulis and McLeish prefer defensive outlooks so it'll be a war of attrition. There is some talent on the pitch, they just won't get the freedom to show it to the poor fans. 0-0 or 1-1.
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Draw
Looter : Stoke's away record last term was poor to say the least and a 4-0 defeat at Liverpool in midweek won't have helped. But Tony Pulis should go with two up front at St Andrew's and I fancy them to use their Premier League know-how to claim the points. 1-2
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Draw
Hull City vs Bolton
Shooter : On paper this looks like another clash to avoid like swine flu, but I've got a sneaky feeling there'll be plenty of goals and incident. Both managers will be seeing this as a chance for three points - so could set up with attacking formations. I'm going for 1-2 or even 2-3!
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : Goals hardly flew in in the meetings between these sides last season and I'd definitely expect another low-scoring affair. The Tigers have won just once in 2009, but records have to end somewhere and I think they just might scrape a win here - with Stephen Hunt the key man. 1-0
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Man City vs Wolves
Shooter : Wolves picked up three points from a trip to Lancashire at Wigan in midweek - but there's two chances of a repeat at Eastlands: slim and none, and slim's just left town. Hughes has an embarrassment of attacking riches in his squad, and I'm going for a 4-0 City win.
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : This is a tough away assignment for Wolves, but little will be expected of them so I don't think they'll have much to lose. I can actually see them taking a shock lead at Eastlands, before City class (and millions) ensuring a second-half fightback. 3-1
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Sunderland vs Blackburn
Shooter : This is a tale of two strikers, with Rovers regretting having not replaced Sant Cruz's goals and threat, and Sunderland reaping the rewards of giving Bent a new lease of life. Bent and Jones look lively up front and should bare their teeth for the Cats. 2-0
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : Sunderland were outclassed by Chelsea in midweek but nonetheless gave a good account of themselves, with Darren Bent proving he has a real eye for goal. Rovers are currently pointless after one game this term, so will go into this fresher and are capable of claiming a point. 1-1
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Home Win
Wigan Ath vs Man Utd
Shooter : Martinez's men were stirred at Villa Park but shaken by Wolves in midweek - and they could feel the backlash from United's shock defeat at Turf Moor in this clash. It's too early for Fergie to panic, but he will demand a response from the defending champions. 0-2
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : The DW Stadium has been a happy hunting ground for United in recent times, winning the title here two years ago and claiming a vital win in the run-in last term. Add into the mix that the champions are a wounded animal after their midweek defeat at Burnley AND Wigan just don't score or win many at home, this is a certain away win for me. 0-2
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Away Win
Crystal Palace vs Newcastle
Shooter : The Eagles are fuming over the 'phantom goal' shenanigans, while the Magpies seem to be forgetting their off-field trouble and getting on with the job of trying to win promotion. Losing Duff is a blow but they've got a strong enough XI to pinch a point here. 1-1
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : The Eagles finally got their campaign up and running with an impressive 3-1 win at Ipswich in midweek so will welcome Newcastle full of confidence. The Magpies go into this one in great form and with Shola Ameobi buzzing. But they rarely do well on trips to the capital so I'll tip up their unbeaten start to the season to end here. 2-1
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Away Win
Burnley vs Everton
Shooter : Everyone connected to and living in Burnley will be buzzing after Blake produced his own David vs Goliath heroics against United. Confidence is sky high at Turf Moor - but this is the Premier League and I expect the Toffees, fresh from a fine Euro display without Lescott, to bring the hosts crashing back down to earth. 1-3
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : Owen Coyle will be telling his players that their win over Man United in midweek will count for nothing if they can't take something from this clash with Everton. But Everton bounced all three promoted teams early on in the campaign last term and have that element of Premier League know-how. The Lescott business may have left them in what the media are labelling a crisis - but I think they'll rubbish those theories with a hard-fought win here. 1-2
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Fulham vs Chelsea
Shooter : Ancelotti's Blues keeping getting themselves out of trouble after gifting opponents a lead - but I think their luck will run out at the Cottage, where Roy's boys have been rock-solid for a long time now. There could be goals, though, so I'm going for a 2-2 draw.
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : The Blues have overcome deficits to claim victories in their first two games of the season so Carlo Ancelotti will be stressing the need for a bright start from his players at Craven Cottage. Fulham will be without the injured Andy Johnson, and I think he'll be a big miss for the hosts. Not a pretty game - but 1-0 to Chelsea I think.
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Away Win
West Ham vs Tottenham
Shooter : Tottenham have finally made a good start to the season, which bodes well as they've got a strikeforce arguably only bettered by City. Defoe, a hat-trick hero at Hull, will be itching to nail a goal into the Hammers' net, and I think he'll set up an away win. 1-3
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : Spurs have taken two wins from their last three visits to Upton Park and are in free-scoring form at the start of this campaign. The hosts will no doubt afford Harry Redknapp and Jermain Defoe a hostile reception and their players will surely respond to that and help them to a scoring draw, 1-1 or maybe 2-2.
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Away Win
