Aston Villa vs Tottenham
Shooter : It's tempting to back against Spurs after their stunning 9-1 demolition of Wigan, especially ahead of a tough trip to the Midlands, as surely they used up all their luck in one game. But Spurs have won 3/6 on the road and I think they'll have too much attacking quality for Villa to handle. 1-3
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Draw
Looter : So. How many of you had cash on Spurs to win 9-1 last weekend? Nope, me neither, but anyone who has seen them play this season will know that kind of result was waiting to happen. That said, Villa are likely to be one of their main rivals for a top-four finish this year and boast a decent home record of four wins from their six games and I think they'll improve on that to leave Spurs feeling deflated. 2-1
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Draw
Blackburn vs Stoke City
Shooter : On paper this looks like it'll be a dour game, but both teams having been getting results without playing well so confidence is high in both camps. Stoke have more quality in their squad but Pulis isn't using it, so I'm going for a 2-2 draw.
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Draw
Looter : Rovers have been in solid form of late, having sunk Portsmouth and Bolton in their last two outings. On the contrary, there has been rumblings of discontent at Stoke and one win on their travels this term suggests an away win is unlikely. But Stoke have the grit to earn a point so a draw looks the safe bet to me. 1-1
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Draw
Fulham vs Bolton
Shooter : The knives are being sharpened and the heat is rising on Trotters boss Gary Megson, whose troops are in the dropzone and in big trouble. Fulham won in midweek and Hodgson has signed a new deal. It may not a mortgage job - but it's not far off. 3-1
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Draw
Looter : Prior to last week's defeat at Birmingham, Fulham had been unbeaten in five league games so shouldn't face a struggling Bolton side with any fear or trepidation. The Trotters are, quite frankly, pretty poor so I'll have no qualms in tipping up a home win. 2-0
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Draw
Man City vs Hull City
Shooter : Looking at the form guide, the Tigers are the team to back after 2 Prem wins in 3, with the goals flowing for them too. I'm pretty sure Phil Brown will keep his teamtalk confined to the dressing room, but I think City will end their run of draws in a high-scoring thriller at Eastlands. 3-2
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Draw
Looter : City have drawn a remarkable six games in a row - a club record - so will be going out all guns blazing in a bid to end their winless run. Hull have improved slightly but will know a point will be a bonus here. Half-time team-talk on the touchline anyone?... 3-1
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Draw
Portsmouth vs Man Utd
Shooter : Paul Hart finally paid the price for Pompey's poor position this week, and life doesn't get any easier for new boss Avram Grant, who entertains a United team smarting from their CL defeat in midweek. I don't think it'll be a stroll for the visitors though. 0-2
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : Three defeats from six away games is poor by Manchester United's standards, and they'll face a Pompey side probably still shaken up by Paul Hart's dismissal. But he went because the team lacked organisation and I can't see a lot changing between now and then. This has to be a nailed-on away win for me. 0-2
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Away Win
West Ham vs Burnley
Shooter : The Clarets' away record is poor but they showed a big improvement at Eastlands, showing they can score goals on the road. The Hammers are on a downward spiral which Zola seems unable to stop, so I'm backing Coyle's boys to pinch all three points at Turf Moor.
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : The Hammers currently occupy 17th spot, thanks in no small part to some very disappointing home form this term. Burnley arrive with comfortably the worst away record in the Premier League but scored three times at City last time out to show they have made some improvement. I think that will continue and the Clarets will be toasting a shock 0-1 success.
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Home Win
Wigan Ath vs Sunderland
Shooter : Where do you go after losing 9-1 in your previous game? Well the only way is up, as Yazz once said, and Martinez will have shaken up his Latics in training and demanded a response. Sunderland beat Arsenal last time out, but both teams are inconsistent so I'm saying 2-1.
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : Latics chairman Dave Whelan has already stoked things up ahead of this one by suggesting their 9-1 spanking at Spurs last week was down to some of Steve Bruce's shoddy signings. Whether that will fire them up, I'm not so sure and I think it will be returning gaffer Bruce who has the last laugh. 1-2
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Home Win
Arsenal vs Chelsea
Shooter : The Gunners are missing van Persie much more than they expected, with Eduardo not really filling his boots in any way I'm afraid. The Blues look rock solid but are also full of goals under Ancelotti, and I think they'll outmuscle their arch London rivals. 0-1
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : I'm still shocked by Arsenal's defeat at Sunderland last week and what better way for the Gunners to exact some revenge than at home to table-toppers Chelsea. The Blues aren't impenetrable on their travels (having already lost twice) but I think a score draw (1-1 or 2-2) looks likely here.
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Away Win
Everton vs Liverpool
Shooter : Goodness me this is a big game, and defeat for either side could easily lead to their under-pressure manager being sacked. Rafa's Reds are reeling from dropping into the tinpot Europa League, while Moyes' boys were tamed by the Tigers in midweek. I'm going for 1-1.
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : Out of the Champions League, out of the title race - little has gone right for the Reds this term. And a trip across Stanley Park to Everton will hardly make things much easier. That said, Gerrard and Torres should be back in tandem, so I'd expect the Toffees to feel a Reds backlash. 1-2
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Away Win
Wolves vs Birmingham City
Shooter : Wolves have been poor this season and are quite rightly in the bottom three. Molineux boss Mick McCarthy will see this is a big chance for three points, but I'm not sure they've got the quality to earn them. Blues are combative under McLeish and seem to have some momentum going following the takeover at St Andrew's. 1-3
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : On a weekend of Premier League derbies, Wolves entertain Birmingham in another. Both these sides are fighting for their survival at the wrong end of the table, so don't expect a fine spectacle at Molineux. But do expect Mick McCarthy's hosts to just about edge a win and bag only their third success this term. 2-1
