Shooter : The Tigers have got a smile on their faces again, thanks in no small part to the return to form and fitness of Jimmy Bullard, who earnt them a point at Eastlands last time out. Villa were held by Spurs and struggle to impose themselves at home, so I'm going for 2-2.
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : Two teams bang in form meet at Villa Park this weekend and I think this could be the most interesting match-up of the weekend. The Tigers are now four unbeaten in the league and I think they can hold Villa and make it five. 1-1

Blackburn vs Liverpool
Shooter : Rovers are a handful on home turf and will be buzzing after knocking Chelsea out of the Carling Cup in midweek. Big Sam's recovery seems to be inspiring them, and although Liverpool won at Goodison anyone who watched the game will know they were awful. A 'shock' home win for me, but only just. 2-1

Looter : Rovers will be on a high after their Carling Cup progress against Chelsea, which therefore makes this another tricky test for Liverpool. Torres remains a doubt, and Ngog just doesn't cut it for me - so my money will be on a home win. 2-1

Man City vs Chelsea
Shooter : Carlo Ancelotti will not be a happy bunny after seeing the Blues crash out of the Carling Cup, and all the big guns will be back in harness at Eastlands. City put Wenger's young guns to the sword in midweek, but Chelsea are a totally different beast - and I think they'll have too much bite and firepower for Hughes' hosts. 1-3

Looter : The battle of the cash kings will see City desperate to break their seven-game drawing sequence and Chelsea out to get over their Carling Cup disappointment. But I can't see either side emerging triumphant - draw number eight then for City. 1-1

West Ham vs Man Utd
Shooter : The Hammers put five past the Clarets on their way to winning an eight-goal thriller at Upton Park, and although there'll probably be goals again in this one, they'll be flying past the hosts only. United are moving through the gears nicely, so I'll say 0-3.

Looter : You cannot underline just how important Carlton Cole is for the Hammers and his absence in this game will be huge for them. United are going well in all competitions, but the Prem remains the bread and butter and they should mop up a comfortable win. 0-2

Wigan Ath vs Birmingham City
Shooter : Wigan are staggeringly inconsistent under Martinez, so after beating Bruce's Black Cats last time out, I'm backing them to be feeling Blue after this encounter. Bowyer is in fine form for the Midlanders, who have got some real momentum going under McLeish. 0-2

Looter : Blues picked up a fine win over Wolves last week, thanks to the in-form Lee Bowyer and keeping him quiet will be key for Wigan this week. Latics got one over Sunderland last week, but still seem shakey after the 9-1 loss at Spurs, so I'm tipping up an away win. 0-1

Wolves vs Bolton
Shooter : Goodness me this is a vital game for both teams, who are entrenched in the bottom three for a reason: they've been pants so far. It'll be a battle of the set-pieces as neither team are playing with confidence, so there could well be a few goals. 1-1 or even 2-2.

Looter : A huge game for both sides, but Bolton just about go into this one with the better form, having drawn at Fulham last week. Wolves look short on confidence to me and far too reliant on Kevin Doyle. It's got to be another away success for me. 1-2

Everton vs Tottenham
Shooter : The Toffees largely outplayed Liverpool in the Merseyside derby and ensured there was no Greek tragedy in midweek with a fine display - but Tottenham have got the bit between their teeth at the moment and are full of flair, confidence and goals. 1-3 to Tottenham.

Looter : Spurs are pretty formidable at home as their 9-1 destruction over Wigan proved. But I don't think Harry knows his best side on the road as the draw at Villa last weekend illustrated. Everton won in midweek in Europe, but have been labouring in the league. A draw here for me, 2-2.

Fulham vs Sunderland
Shooter : Fulham seem to have found their feet after a wobbly start to marrying league form with their European adventure and are strong on home soil. But Bruce is still fuming after defeat at Wigan and will demand a response - I think he'll get one in a 2-2 draw.

Looter : The Cottagers were disappointingly held 1-1 by Bolton last weekend, but have still won more often than not at home (four wins from seven games). Sunderland are woeful travellers, with five defeats from seven games. Stick with the form book: home win. 2-1

Scunthorpe vs Coventry
Shooter : Both these two drew last time out and there's only a point between them, with Cov's defence a bit too leaky on the road for my liking. The Iron's stoppage-time equaliser against Leicester will have felt like a win, so I think they'll have the momentum to win 2-1.

Looter : The Iron kept high-flying Leicester at bay last weekend and have been better than most give them credit for at home this term. The Sky Blues are pretty poor travellers with five defeats already, so I'll edge towards a home win here. 1-0

Crystal Palace vs Doncaster
Shooter : Life doesn't get much easier for Donny as they look to bounce back from a 4-1 drubbing by Forest, as they head to Selhurst Park to face a Palace side buzzing after stinging the Hornets 3-0. The Eagles have got the play-offs in their sights, and I reckon it'll be 3-0 again.
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : Yet to win on their travels, you'd be hard pressed to find reason to back Donny in this one. But the Eagles revealed this week that they haven't been paid for a month and no matter what they say, I expect their morale will have been hit. A shock away win for me in this one. 1-2
