Archived tips :
Everton vs Bolton
Shooter : Owen Coyle is finally starting to stamp his own style of play on the Trotters and they put four past Wigan at The Reebok. Everton are a different animal, though, and have Arteta fully fit and pulling the strings from midfield again. I'm going for 2-1.
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : The Trotters have lost 9/15 on their travels this season so it'd be easy to back a home win here. But Everton were poor in giving away two soft goals at Birmingham last time out and I think their bid for a top-seven finish will flounder here too. 1-1
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Home Win
Portsmouth vs Hull City
Shooter : Hull havent won away from home all season, one of the reasons why Brown was given the boot, and it'll be interesting to see if Dowie's arrival galvanises the Tigers players as a new manager normally does. Pompey have been deducted nine points so morale will be on the floor, and I think the Tigers will pounce for all three points. 1-2
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : The Tigers will be under the new command of Iain Dowie and he'll hope his appointment sparks an immediate upturn in fortunes. Hull weren't far from holding Arsenal to a draw last time, but I think they'll claim all three here against a Pompey side who are now dead and buried. 1-2
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Home Win
Stoke City vs Tottenham
Shooter : Spurs have finally found some steel on the road this season and are a tough nut to crack. They know they need to pick up at least a point to keep their top-four bid on track, and with Stoke having a strong home record and firepower of their own, I'm going for a 1-1 draw.
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : The Potters have won lost just once in the league since the turn of the year, so will go into this one in high spirits. Tottenham, while chasing a top-four spot, have won just once on their travels in 2010 (at Wigan) so could come unstuck here. 2-1
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Away Win
Sunderland vs Birmingham City
Shooter : Black Cats finally enjoyed some home comfort thanks to Darren Bent's recent hat-trick so have some momentum to build on heading into this game. I've got a feeling Blues might be starting to run out of steam, so am tipping up a 3-1 home win.
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : The Black Cats were unfortunate not to post a win against Man City last time out, but won't be too dishearted after a much-improved display. Blues have lost 4 from their last 5 away days, so I don't see them getting much joy here either. 1-0
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Wigan Ath vs Burnley
Shooter : Burnley's form under boss Brian Laws has been so poor there's already whispers flying around that he could be sacked before the end of the season. I don't think those rumours will be quietened after this fixture, as the Latics have some match-winners in the likes of Rodallega and N'Zogbia and I think they'll beat the Clarets comfortably in a 3-0 win.
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : The matches are starting to run out for Burnley, who have still only picked up one point from 45 on offer away from home this term. Their away days often produce goals feasts, and I think they'll serve up another here against inconsistent Wigan, who are Jekyll and Hyde at home. 3-2
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Arsenal vs West Ham
Shooter : The Wenger boys are gunning for title glory, and showed their desire with a last-gasp win at Hull. They've got the easiest run-in of the title contenders and this is surely a mortgage job, with Zola's Hammers unilkely to be able to keep the hosts at bay. 2-0.
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : It's full steam ahead as far as Arsenal's title bid is concerned and a home date with West Ham should hold few fears. The Hammers were dismantled by free-flowing Chelsea last week and if they get in front early, the Gunners should win this big. 4-1
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Man Utd vs Liverpool
Shooter : Liverpool's 4-1 win in this fixture last season still rankles with United's players, and a lot depends on what line-up Rafa goes with. The likelihood is he'll stick with Lucas and Kuyt, and hope that Torres can run Vidic ragged again - problem is they need to keep the prolific Rooney out to have any hope, and I can't see that happening so am going for a 2-0 United win.
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : The big showdown on Sunday sees these two North-West rivals lock horns. However, the Merseysiders go into this one having played on Thursday and Monday, while United will have had an entire week's rest. Liverpool have come off better in the duo's meetings lately, but with a fired-up Rooney in full throttle, there can be only one outcome for me. 3-1
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Fulham vs Man City
Shooter : City have drawn seven of their 15 away games so far this season, but will have to be at their best to get anything against a Fulham buzzing after their stunning Europa League heroics against Juventus on Thursday night. The Cottagers overturned a 3-1 deficit to beat the Old Lady 5-4 on aggregate, but I've got a feeling they'll be brought crashing back down to earth, with City pinching a 2-1 away win.
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : The Cottagers boast an impressive home record having won 9/14 at home and go into this on a huge high after overcoming Juventus. Inconsistent City have yet to find their rhythm on the road but Mancini should have his players fired up for this one after their indifferent display at Sunderland and I think they can pocket a point from their trip to West London. 2-2
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Away Win
Blackburn vs Chelsea
Shooter : Rovers are a right handful on home turf under Big Sam, and have only lost twice at Ewood so far this season. But I think they'll suffer from a Blues backlash after their Champions League exit in midweek, with Drogba and co having too much class for the hosts. 1-2
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Draw
Looter : This weekend's S4TL decider sees Rovers host Chelsea, and having seen their European dreams KO'd for another year in midweek, the Prem now becomes Carlo Ancelotti's top priority. Ewood Park has been a happy hunting ground for them in the past and I expect a big reaction after their CL woes. 0-2
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Draw
Middlesbro' vs Reading
Shooter : The Royals are in red-hot form so will arrive at The Riverside with confidence sky high. I reckon there'll be goals in this one as Boro have got some quality in the attacking third, so I'm going for a 2-2 draw.
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Draw
Looter : Only two points separate these sides now after a remarkable run of form by the Royals. Much of their success has come at home though and a trip to The Riverside is never the easiest. Boro have been held 2-2 in their last two matches - expect that to be a third in this one. 2-2
