Arsenal vs West Ham
Shooter : This should be a full-blooded London derby as Wenger's young guns proved at Goodison they can grind out big results, and will need to again when they face an Irons side buzzing after beating Man United. I think the hosts will narrowly edge a tight contest. 1-0
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : The Hammers might have shocked Man United, but winning away at the Emirates might be too tall an order. But the Gunners will need to be at their best against a West Ham side, who are likely to go 4-5-1, so this one might be a tighter affair than you realise. 1-0
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Aston Villa vs Tottenham
Shooter : After the goal fest at White Hart Lane, what price a dull 0-0 draw in this one? I can't see that scoreline being right, but think these two teams will share the spoils as Spurs are really improving under Ramos. Villa are a tough nut to crack at home, so a 2-2 draw for me.
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : Spurs are probably the most improved team of late, but they've been shipping goals for fun at the back. Juande Ramos' side look especially vulnerable at set-plays and I think this could be theire undoing in a high-scoring 3-2 defeat.
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Fulham vs Chelsea
Shooter : I'm going to go out on a limb here as the arrival of a new boss always draws a good display from players looking to impress. Fulham have never been overawed when playing Chelsea, and with Cech a bit shaky and the Blues not a full strength, I think a shock is on. 2-1
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : Fulham have the new manager factor; Chelsea are without Cech, Cudicini, Terry, Carvalho, Lampard, Makelele, Malouda, Drogba and Shevchenko. Throw into the mix, the derby factor - and the fact the Cottagers have proved in the past they can win this game - I'm edging towards a narrow home win once again. 1-0
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Away Win
Man Utd vs Birmingham City
Shooter : Fergie will be fuming over their Upton Park mugging, and will demand a response from his troops. Blues are well drilled under McLeish but I think they'll be overwhelmed by a fired-up United outfit - and don't really have the class to match them at Old Trafford. 3-0
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : United have won nine league games in a row at home since Reading stole a point on the opening day, conceding just three goals all season. Blues may have won twice on the road this season but their prime aim will be avoiding a heavy defeat. In fact, anything other than a home win would be one of the biggest miracles since the Virgin Mary gave birth to Jesus. 4-0
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Middlesbro' vs Everton
Shooter : A bit more Turkish delight from Tuncay gave Boro the points at Fratton Park, but they're frustratingly inconsistent this season and I think they'll come unstuck against a Toffees team who will have Yak in attack and looking to shoot down his former employers. 0-2
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : The Toffees will be without Mikel Arteta for the trip to Teesside, but should still have enough options in midfield to clock up their fifth away win in 10 games this season. Boro are likely to again go with Lee Dong-Gook up front and he's about as useful as a chocolate teapot. 1-3
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Away Win
Reading vs Portsmouth
Shooter : Harry thought his Pompey troops looked tired v Boro, so a game a few days later isn't going to help matters. They can't buy a goal at the moment and are fading fast, while the Royals will take something from scoring 4 at Spurs and are rock-solid on home soil. 2-0
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : The return match earlier in the season poured goals, and although this one should again be wide open, I expect Pompey - with six wins on the road so far - to just about edge out the Royals in a slighter tighter affair. 1-2
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Away Win
Blackburn vs Sunderland
Shooter : Sunderland banked three massive points against Bolton but at home they get the backing of 40,000 partisan fans. Rovers have arguably the buy of the season in Santa Cruz, and with the Cats pretty tame on the road, I reckon Hughes' hosts will be victorious. 3-1
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : The Black Cats finally ended their poor run with victory over Bolton at the weekend, but will need to up the stakes if they are to get 2008 off to a flyer at Ewood Park. Santa Cruz is scoring for fun right now and with Bentley supplying the ammo, I can see the home side edging it. 3-1
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Bolton vs Derby
Shooter : Jewell's Rams are fast being cut adrift and desperately need new faces. Bolton, meanwhile, are only a point above the trapdoor so need to bank all three points from this one, and should do as Messrs Diouf, Nolan and Anelka will bamboozle 'Big Dave' Darren Moore. 2-0
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : The Rams were guilty of handing Blackburn the points on a plate on Sunday and were unfortunate not to get anything from the game. They've improved massively under Paul Jewell, and whilst they probably are quite good enough to win at the Reebok, I can see them holding out for a deserved point. 2-2
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Home Win
Liverpool vs Wigan Ath
Shooter : Wigan, like Sunderland, are in trouble due to rotten away form, having lost 8 of 10 on the road and failed to win so far. Liverpool are clinging on to the leading pack's coat-tails, but are simply awesome at Anfield, and Torres will help to lick the Latics. 3-0
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Draw
Looter : The pressure to win this one will be enormous on Liverpool and Steve Bruce has yet to taste a league defeat against Rafa Benitez. But Latics have lost 20 in a row against teams from the top four and surely only a miracle will holt loss number 21. Wigan will battle hard, but I think it will be 2-0.
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Draw
Newcastle vs Man City
Shooter : Derby went very close to beating Big Sam's boys at St James', and after successive defeats confidence is pretty low. Add to that the fact City have got Elano back pulling the strings, plus the classy Petrov on the wing, and I think it's misery for the Magpies. 1-3
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : City might be riding high in the table, but their away form has been greatly disappointing this term with just one win from nine games to date. The Magpies will be backed by a full-house and assuming the home faithful don't have long to wait for the opener, they could get 2008 off to a flyer with a hard-fought 2-1 home win.
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Away Win
