Shooter : City's form has tailed away in recent games but they're still unbeaten at Eastlands - and could have a new striker on board by the weekend. Arsenal are flying but playing Newcastle (back-to-back 3-0 wins) is a lot easier than City, and I think they'll be held. 1-1

Looter : City have hit the rails somewhat with just one win in their last six games and have it all to do with successive games against Arsenal and Manchester United. Sven's men will raise their game and could grab an unlikely point against the Gunners. 1-1

Birmingham City vs Derby
Shooter : Sunderland's resurgence has firmly plunged Blues into the relegation scrap, so this simply has to be a home win. The Rams got a point in midweek and have some new faces - but they've lost 10 of 12 on the road this season, and I'm afraid it'll soon be 11 of 13. 2-0

Looter : Blues were awful in their 2-0 defeat at Sunderland on Tuesday and will want to bounce back quickly against the Prem's cannon fodder. The Rams held City on Wednesday, and expect them to pick up another useful point at St Andrews as the new signings start to gel. 0-0

Blackburn vs Everton
Shooter : This battle would normally be seen as a war of attrition, but these two are 4th and 8th on merit and both play with attacking verve as well as being physical. Messrs Hughes and Moyes will have their troops fired up for this one, and I reckon it'll be a 2-2 draw.

Looter : This game could easily be decided by the odd goal, given that both sides have lost just one game in their last 12 games between them. But Everton, with Cahill returning from a midweek ban, are well drilled when it comes to sneaking away wins and they could just edge a win here. 1-2

Portsmouth vs Chelsea
Shooter : Chelsea's steamroller has had to be in top gear to stay in touch with the Arsenal and United juggernauts, and they just keep on churning out the victories. Harry's Pompey, meanwhile, are dropping faster than a hooker's knickers, so it's a narrow away win for me. 1-2

Looter : Pompey floundered against United in midweek and looked clearly disinterested as soon as they fell behind. Their fans won't accept the same surly approach here, and whilst they'll give Chelsea a good game, expect the Blues to gather their 10th successive win - just. 0-1

Reading vs Bolton
Shooter : The Royals need to be careful as they're slipping close to the trapdoor...thankfully their Madejski form is strong, with all six of their wins coming at home. Bolton are surprisingly poor away from The Reebok (8 defeats in 11) and are really missing Anelka. 2-0

Looter : The Royals have been sucked back into the relegation mix and could even be in the bottom three if they lose this one. But thankfully, it's the toothless Trotters rolling into town and as long as the Royals can keep it tight, they should have too much for the Ginger Mourinho's troops. 2-0

Tottenham vs Man Utd
Shooter : United have a great record at the Lane, but Spurs really pushed them hard at Old Trafford and only Dawson's dismissal let the Red Devils take control in the cup. Confidence is still high and Berbatov may see this as a chance to catch Fergie's eye for a summer move. 2-2

Looter : Spurs gave United a thorough workout in their cup clash last week and will hope to have a little more luck on their side this time around. Much could come down to the personal battles (Woodgate v Rooney; Berba and Keane v Vidic and Ferdinand) but I have a sneaky feeling Spurs might just edge a win and blow the title race wide open. 3-2

Wigan Ath vs West Ham
Shooter : All the momentum is with the Hammers after they stunned Liverpool with a late penalty in midweek - and they've won as many games away (5) as they have at Upton Park this season. Latics are in deep trouble and are pinning their hopes on Marlon King - not great. 1-2

Looter : You never know quite what you're going to get with Wigan, and they will need to be on their game to beat the Hammers to give their survival hopes a timely boost. But King and Heskey up front would test any defence and they could cash in with what some would see as a surprise victory. 2-1

Liverpool vs Sunderland
Shooter : There is a serious amount of pressure on Rafa for this game - but the Reds usually deliver the goods at Anfield when defeat is simply unthinkable. Sunderland's home form could keep them up, but they'll be overwhelmed by the hosts' possession in this one. 2-0 or 3-0

Looter : It's another game Rafa Benitez simply cannot afford to lose - what with the Reds having failed to win in their last five league games. But just three defeats all season tells it's own story and whilst it'll be nervy, expect Gerrard and Torres' class to shine through just when it matters most. 3-0

Newcastle vs Middlesbro'
Shooter : It's fair to say it's not been a dream start to King Kev's second reign. No goals, no wins, no room for error. The Magpies should finally break their drought against Boro, but Southgate's boys are buzzing at the moment and the derby element will lead to a draw. 1-1

Looter : It's not just local pride at stake in this one - it's the Prem points that both will be desperate for to avoid getting dragged full bang into the middle of a relegation dogfight. The Magpies have yet to score under Keegan's tenure - but expect that to end and expect Special K to also double up with a home win, especially given Boro have just one win in this fixture in 15 years. 3-1

Fulham vs Aston Villa
Shooter : Hodgson finally banked his first point as Fulham boss in midweek, but a record of 16 goals in 12 home games is not going to give Martin O'Neill sleepless nights. Villa have serious 4th-place aspirations, and should have too much in attack for the Cottagers. 1-3

Looter : The Cottagers have been simply dire this season and need to do something quickly if they're to avoid getting cut adrift along with Derby. But Villa have pace to burn in attack, and against the likes of Bocanegra, Hughes and Baird, there can only be one winner for me. 0-3
