Birmingham City vs Man City
Shooter : Alex McLeish's relegation battlers may be missing McFadden's guile against Sven's City Slickers, who drew 0-0 at Bolton last time out, but in Larsson/Forssell/McSheffrey I think they've got enough flair to break down a resolute City defence and grind out a narrow 1-0 win.
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : This is a huge game for both clubs and certainly one either can ill-afford to lose. I don't expect there to be too many goals in this one and it may come down to a mistake if we're to find a winner. However, this one might be like chess and I fancy a 0-0 draw.
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Home Win
Bolton vs Arsenal
Shooter : Bizarrely Bolton are something of a bogey team for the Gunners, but in previous seasons the silky skills of Anelka have tormented them. Since he joined Chelsea, the Trotters have nosedived into the dropzone, and although Arsenal are in stuttering form themselves, the fact Bolton just can't score points to an away win for me. 0-2
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : Bolton's big problem is scoring goals, with just 28 scored in 31 league games so far this term. The Gunners' pride will be bruised and battered after last week's loss at Chelsea, and you can expect the wounded animal to rip the Trotters to shreds. 0-3
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Away Win
Derby vs Fulham
Shooter : Some might say Derby have improved in recent times, pushing Man Utd hard before narrowly losing at Boro. But although Fulham lost at Newcastle, they still have some survival hope and will view this as a must-win game if they are to stay up. They've shown they're solid away from home, and now have a greater threat in attack following McBride's return to fitness. 0-2 for me.
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Draw
Looter : With no wins on the road this season, Fulham know they'll never have a better chance than when Derby come to town. The Rams could be officially relegated if other results go against them and I don't expect them to put up much fight here. I'm opting for a routine away win. 0-2
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Draw
Man Utd vs Aston Villa
Shooter : Aston Villa's season really is so formulaic it's painful. Flying start, small squad gets knackered after Christmas, end the season just short of Europe. Their home defeat to Sunderland was a real kick in the teeth and they don't have a great record at Old Trafford, so this has to be a routine home win for the red-hot champions. 2-0
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : If there's a manager who can tactically gear up a side for a trip to Old Trafford then it's definitely Martin O'Neill. But Villa's form has been patchy of late with last week's home defeat to Sunderland - as predicted on this very page - proof that their season is running out of steam. United, on the other hand, are all guns blazing and it should be another, hard-fought, victory here. 2-0
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Portsmouth vs Wigan Ath
Shooter : Defoe will be like a coiled spring in this one after being denied the chance to play Spurs and then snubbed by Capello. He'd scored 6 in 6 before his mini-break and will get plenty of chances against a Latics team who have lost 11 of 16 on the road this season. 3-1
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : Steve Bruce will be hoping Pompey's cup clash a week later will act as enough of a distraction in this one. But Portsmouth are gunning for their highest ever Prem finish and will want to protect their record of just two home defeats all season. I expect a tight match, but one Pompey will narrowly edge. 2-1
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Reading vs Blackburn
Shooter : The Royals beat Brum at home on their last outing - but needed two goals from a defender. Rovers are a much tougher nut to crack and have Santa Cruz and Roberts back among the goals. Set-piece specialists Bentley and Gamst Pedersen could prove the difference in a tight game for Golden Goals purposes. 1-2
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Draw
Looter : A run of good results has seen the Royals pull themselves a lofty six points clear of the drop zone, but they'll know they're just one shonky display away from being dragged right back in it. With just four defeats on the road this season, Rovers are well drilled when it comes to away games and I fancy them to nick all three points here. 1-2
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Draw
Sunderland vs West Ham
Shooter : This game represents a rare chance for back-to-back wins for the Black Cats - and I don't think they'll waste it. The Hammers fought for a point at Goodison, but the Cats will be roared on by 40,000 expectant fans and are strong at home so will deliver the goods. 2-1
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : The Black Cats finally ended their long wait for an away victory last week at Aston Villa, but they rode their luck at times to bag the points. The Hammers, meanwhile, were 1-1 drawers at Everton and I can see a repeat scoreline up here, with young Freddie Sears once again proving his talent. 1-1
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Home Win
Chelsea vs Middlesbro'
Shooter : It is now nearly 80 games since Chelsea last lost at Stamford Bridge, a simply staggering record which Boro are not going to threaten. The Blues' win over Arsenal made them serious title contenders, and Boro are close to mid-table safety so will write this one off. 3-0
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : Boro have done well in some tough fixtures recently, drawing at Arsenal and giving a good account of themselves at Liverpool. A trip to Chelsea though is a different matter entirely and there's a very good reason why the Blues are protecting a four-year unbeaten record in the Premier League. Both Drogba and Anelka have got fire in their bellies right now and if they both start, I can see a comfortable win. 4-0
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Liverpool vs Everton
Shooter : This is arguably the most important Merseyside derby there has been in many a season, with the lucrative carrot of fourth place dangling in front of both rivals' noses. The Reds were humbled at Old Trafford but the Toffees came unstuck in a Hammers draw, so confidence is not soaring in either camp. I think it'll be a draw, 1-1.
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : The weekend's action concludes with this absolute beauty of a clash from Anfield where a win for Everton is probably more critical if they're to overhaul their neighbours for fourth. Call me crazy, but with Liverpool facing Arsenal in a midweek CL clash, I have a sneaky feeling that resting players could bite Benitez on the backside once again. 1-2
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Home Win
Tottenham vs Newcastle
Shooter : Newcastle's home win over Fulham gave them some breathing space and somehow they are just 2 places and seven points behind Spurs. The Magpies have improved in recent games and showed some grit in a draw at St Andrews, but they're still awful defensively, which will ultimately prove their undoing at the hands of Keane & Berbatov. 3-1
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : If ever there was a game where you expect strikeforces to be on top, then this is it. Both sides have defences which are about as useful as chocolate fireguards and I don't think the likes of Keane and Berbatov, Viduka and Owen will disappoint in another Lane goals landslide. 4-2
