Arsenal vs Liverpool
Shooter : There was nothing between these two in the midweek CL battle, and although I expect the Reds to deliver at Anfield next week, I think the Gunners will squeeze out a narrow home win here as they know they need three points to stay in the title race. 2-1
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Draw
Looter : There was a great little bet going round this week suggesting that the three head-to-heads would end all square. Although Liverpool rode their luck at times in the midweek game, they were good value for the draw and I'd seriously not be surprised to see a repeat scoreline here. 1-1
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Draw
Aston Villa vs Bolton
Shooter : Villa's bubble has definitely burst and they were torn apart by United's four-star display at Old Trafford. This is last-chance saloon time for Bolton and they desperately need all three points - but I just don't think they've got the quality to get them. 1-1
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : There's very real proof of late that says Aston Villa's small squad has really come to haunt them as a home defeat by Sunderland and a pasting at Old Trafford testifies. But Bolton, low on confidence and now running out of games, presents a great opportunity for the Villans to bounce back - and I don't think they'll waste that chance. 1-0
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Blackburn vs Tottenham
Shooter : You get the sense that half of Spurs' players know they're on their way in the summer, while the other half are already thinking of beach parties. Mark Hughes, meanwhile, has kept his Rovers troops hungry and they have the incentive to move level on points with cup semi-finalists Pompey in sixth place. 2-1
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Draw
Looter : With little to play for it's difficult to know just how Spurs are going to play, as last weekend's home defeat to Newcastle proved. But one thing they do possess is a real hunger to score goals and I can see them edging this one, especially with Rovers having little to play for themselves. 1-2
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Draw
Fulham vs Sunderland
Shooter : In the blue corner we have Fulham, desperate for three points and all-but relegated if they don't win this one. In the red corner is Keane's Cats, who now have some breathing space due to a seven-point gap from the drop. That'll be crucial for me so I'm plumping for a home win for the Cottagers. 2-0
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : The Cats finally clawed their way to a first away triumph at Villa during their last away day, while Fulham were 1-0 victors over Everton last time at the Cottage. The points remain vital for both teams and I can forsee a non-too attractive score draw, 1-1
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Away Win
Newcastle vs Reading
Shooter : My, my, my what a turnaround for the Toon - and the key to it? Keegan returning to his attacking roots. Since Kev started playing Owen/Viduka/Martins in a 4-3-3 formation, they're full of attacking threat. Three more points for the Magpies will end their drop fears, while Reading have lost 11 of 15 on the road - make that 12 of 16. 3-1
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : The clouds have at last parted on Tyneside and the team have finally recaptured their goalscoring verve. Even Michael Owen's being used in a deeper midfield role and I think he'll enjoy another happy run-out against Steve Coppell's struggling Royals. 2-0
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Wigan Ath vs Birmingham City
Shooter : This will be a feisty affair as Steve Bruce admits he is still bitter over his Birmingham exit. Both teams will be primed for a battle due to the bobbly pitch, but Blues have plenty of firepower in the shape of Zarate/Forssell/McSheffrey - and will come home with a point. 1-1
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : Latics' home form since Bruce took charge has been the main reason why the locals look like they're going to enjoy another season of Prem football at The JJB. Blues, on the other hand, have only collected two points on the road in 2008 - and they'll surely lose again here. 2-0
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Everton vs Derby
Shooter : Many thought the Merseyside derby had settled the fourth-place race but I'm not so sure. This has to be a home banker for the Toffees, while the Reds could easily lose at Arsenal, so I think Moyes will fire his troops up to batter the relegated Rams. 4-0
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : Derby are finally down and able to plan for life in the Championship. Although that may allow the Rams to play with a bit more freedom, don't go expecting miracles and you cannot make a bulldog look like a poodle. This has guaranteed home win written all over it. 3-0
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Middlesbro' vs Man Utd
Shooter : Boro tend to turn it on against the big guns - but bizarrely push United harder at Old Trafford. Fergie's men have a decent Riverside record and showed against Roma that it really doesn't matter if they're at home or away. United can smell the title so they won't drop any points in this one. 0-2
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Draw
Looter : Boro have a decent record at The Riverside when the big boys roll into town, but United are playing some of their finest football not only of the season, but of the entire Sir Alex Ferguson era. Even if Rooney and Ronaldo are rested, there's still so much quality in their ranks that you just can't see anything other than an away win. 1-3
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Draw
West Brom vs Portsmouth
Shooter : Most punters will tell you the winner of this game will go on to win the cup. The Baggies tend to struggle against physical teams, which Pompey certainly are. They're the country's leading league scorers, while Pompey are rock-solid in defence. But I'm leaning towards an Albion win for two reasons - they last won the cup 40 years ago in 1968, and Defoe is cup-tied for Harry's troops. 2-1
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : I remember as a youngster FA Cup semi-finals day being my favourite day of football in the entire calendar. There was the expectation, yes, but so often there was also great drama and a LOT of goals. I'm not sure why, but I'm expecting a cup classic here too - and it might be one that goes to extra time. But for the purposes of 90 minutes, I'm going to say 2-2
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Away Win
Barnsley vs Cardiff
Shooter : What a truly bizarre FA Cup semi-final line-up. The Tykes are dangerously close to relegation and are in poor form, while Cardiff drew 0-0 with West Brom in midweek so were clearly saving their energy. I think the class of Whittingham, Ledley and Hasselbaink will ensure the Bluebirds fly into the final. 0-2
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : So hands up who expected these two sides to contest the FA Cup semi-finals this season? No, me neither! The neutrals will be backing Barnsley after their magnificent wins over Liverpool and Chelsea, but I just think it'll be Cardiff - who have players with big-match experience in Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink - who will just edge victory. 0-1
