Archived tips :
Man Utd vs West Ham
Shooter : West Ham have forged a reputation as United's bogey team over the years, and won at Old Trafford last season (thanks to a certain Carlos Tevez) to stay up. They have nothing to play for - but United will be sapped from beating Barca and are stuttering in the league (just 1 win in their last 4 Prem games) due to Chelsea's charge. 1-1
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : The Hammers famously grabbed a win in this game on the final fixture of last season and have a better than average record at Old Trafford. But there's literally no stopping the United juggernaut at the moment and with Wayne Rooney fit to return, I'd put the mortgage on a comfortable home win. 2-0
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Aston Villa vs Wigan Ath
Shooter : Free-scoring Villa are the Prem's form team, winning 3 of their last 4 games and rattling in 17 goals in the process. Wigan are only a point away from safety, though, and have drawn their last 3 games - Bruce is a wily old fox and I fancy him to pick up another point. 2-2
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : This is a tough one to call given that both sides will be going hell for leather for the points. Villa have been scoring for fun lately, but showed against Everton that they are still a little fragile at the back and I think Steve Bruce is canny enough to ensure Latics take a point here. 2-2
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Away Win
Blackburn vs Derby
Shooter : It's hard to imagine how down Derby fans and players alike must be feeling. Their 6-2 drubbing by Arsenal gave them a minus 63 goal difference for the campaign, and now they face a Rovers outfit buzzing from a great win at Pompey which kept them in sight of sixth place. Messrs Santa Cruz, Roberts & Bentley will be licking their lips in anticipation. 4-0
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : In most teams' cases, 'points mean prizes', but in poor old Derby's case, any old point just means slightly less embarrassment. But I doubt they'll get much joy at Blackburn, despite the Rovers return of former favourite Robbie Savage. 2-0
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Fulham vs Birmingham City
Shooter : This really is Fulham's last throw of the dice - it's just a shame it's at home. The Cottagers have lost their last two home games, but won on the road at Reading and Man City. Birmingham, however, have only won once in their last eight games, and were pummelled 5-1 at Villa Park on their last trip. Blues have Forssell in form, Fulham have Kamara so it's a tough one to call - but I'm going to plump for a vital home win for Roy Hodgson's hosts. 2-1
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : There's so much at stake in this one that the loser will almost certainly be resigned to the drop. Fulham go into this one in the better form, but Birmingham were unfortunate to only draw with Liverpool, so I think this one may well end up all square. 1-1
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Home Win
Middlesbro' vs Portsmouth
Shooter : Pompey's players appear to be dreaming of FA Cup glory as they've lost their way in the Prem, losing back-to-back games v Man City and Blackburn. Boro are also out of sorts, going 5 games without a win (3 defeats, 2 draws) - but they know victory here will secure safety, and I think they'll edge a tight tussle. 1-0
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : A point will probably be enough for the Teessiders to ensure their safety, but faltering form of late means they go into this game in poor form. Pompey, on the other hand, are dreaming of Wembley and should have David James once again on the sidelines, so I think the Boro should get the victory they require to ensure survival in style. 2-1
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Reading vs Tottenham
Shooter : One thing is for sure, don't tip this as a 0-0 for Golden Goals. The Lane fixture between these two ended 6-4 to Spurs, and it was 2-2 in the cup (Berbatov alone has scored 6 goals v the Royals). Reading have gone 5 without a win, and Spurs have drawn 4 games on the spin (all 1-1!), so I reckon there'll be plenty of action in a score draw. 2-2
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : So shambolic has been Spurs' form on the road this season that it's hard to believe they only have two away wins to their name in the Prem. With Berbatov and Keane up front they always have a chance, but Reading's need for points is far greater and I think they might just edge out Juande Ramos' side, who have long since had their minds on the beach. 2-1
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Away Win
Bolton vs Sunderland
Shooter : Sunderland are safe after winning 4 of their last 6 games, and are still basking in the glory of their dramatic derby win over Boro. Bolton are also in decent nick, though, banking seven points from their last 3 games to pull out of the dropzone. It'll be gritty rather than pretty, and I reckon a 1-1 draw.
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : Amazingly, three points in this one could ensure Bolton's Premier League place for another season - a fantastic turnaround given their plight just three weeks ago. Sunderland, meanwhile, are already safe, but are playing some good stuff of late and I think they can pinch a point from their trip to The Reebok. 1-1
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Home Win
Arsenal vs Everton
Shooter : There may only be two places between these two rivals, but the gulf in class is still pretty vast. The Toffees are really missing Cahill's goals and guile, and just look knackered. Arsenal, meanwhile, have won 2 on the trot, with the prolific Adebayor hungry for more goals after his hat-trick in the demolition of Derby. 2-0
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : The Toffees pinched a point here last season and would give anything for a repeat of the 1-1 scoreline this time around. And a huge factor in their favour this time around is that Arsenal's title hopes could mathematically be over by the time this clash is played. OK, so they'll still be playing for second, but I think Everton will battle for a well-earned point. 1-1
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Home Win
Liverpool vs Man City
Shooter : Liverpool's European charge was ended at the Bridge in midweek, but their storming second-half display to force extra-time will ensure morale is not too low. They can't catch Arsenal and can't be caught by Everton so may struggle for motivation, opening the door for a City team desperate to prove Sven should not be sacked this summer. I reckon 2-2.
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : It makes a change for Liverpool to go into a fixture where the opposition has endured a more tumultuous week, but that is the case when City roll into Anfield. Sven's neck is not just on the chopping block, but the guillotine has already been used. Their players might show willing, but Torres, Gerrard and Babel will probably be just too good. 2-0
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Crystal Palace vs Burnley
Shooter : The Eagles were soaring before their late heartache at Hull, which saw their three-match winning run come to an end. Warnock has been here before, though, and knows victory will assure a play-off spot. The Clarets drew 3-3 with Cardiff last time out, so are no mugs, but don't expect them to storm the Palace. 3-1
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : The Eagles need a win in this one to book their place in the play-offs, but have a difficult opponent in the Clarets, who boast nine away triumphs already this season. A draw might just be enough for them if other results go their way, and amid high tension at Selhurst Park, I think it will be Neil Warnock's side celebrating a top-six finish - but only just. 1-1
