Birmingham City vs Blackburn
Shooter : Form goes out of the window on the last day of the season - it's all about desperation and hunger. McLeish's Blues will have bags full of both and need all three points - sadly they're facing an in-form Rovers side who are hoping to hook sixth place. A draw for me, 2-2.
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : This is the game that Blues simply have to win if they're to stand any chance of surviving. But the simple fact that just 13 points from 17 games (two wins; seven draws; eight defeats) won this year means they're the team in the worst form in the league (taking Derby out of the equation of course). Blackburn still have hopes of overhauling Villa and finishing sixth, so I fancy them to make it a tearful St Andrews come 5pm on Sunday. 1-2
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Home Win
Chelsea vs Bolton
Shooter : Bolton are all-but safe as only Reading can catch them and they have a far-worse goal difference (-18 versus -29). This is a mortgage job for a Chelsea home win and they'll do their bit, then hope that Wigan can do them a favour. Bolton will make it hard work for the Blues, but their Bridge record and title aspirations will secure a 3-0 win.
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Draw
Looter : It's just as well Bolton are (all-but) safe going into this one, given that Chelsea need nothing less than a win to keep their title dream alive. Even then that might not be enough, and although they may struggle to break the Trotters down, expect them to edge a low-scoring win, 1-0
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Draw
Derby vs Reading
Shooter : This is a tough one to call - as both teams are so dire! Reading haven't scored for 5 games or tasted victory in 6 games, and Derby are simply the worst team ever to have graced the Prem. The fact the Royals are drinking in the last-chance saloon, and simply must get three points, will give them the vital edge - but it won't be pretty. 0-1
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : Reading's big problem this year has been scoring goals, having averaged around just one goal per game this season. That form has seen them plunge to within a whisker of the drop and they need nothing less than a win at Pride Park to save themselves. There's no getting away from the fact that the Rams have had a diabolical season but I think they'll end the campaign with another point to add to their miserable total of 11. This one won't be pretty. 0-0
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Away Win
Everton vs Newcastle
Shooter : Newcastle's renaissance came to a halt against Chelsea, but the loss won't have knocked too much stuffing out of them and they'll be keen to avoid back-to-back defeats before the summer break. The knackered Toffees are limping across the finishing line, but only need a point to secure fifth spot - and they'll get it. 2-2
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : The Magpies go into this one with more question marks raised over Kevin Keegan's future and minus the threat of Mark Viduka, who has been a key component in their recent revival. Everton are without several key men too in Arteta and Cahill, so I think this one could end in a high-scoring draw. 2-2
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Home Win
Middlesbro' vs Man City
Shooter : City have had a solid first season under Sven and can't be budged from ninth, but it seems the Swede is on way, with Scolari waiting in the wings, so the players are unlikely to deliver a dazzling display. Boro are safe but settled, and I think home fans will be doing Samba dancing at The Riverside thanks to Brazilian ace Alves. 2-0
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : City have been pretty poor on their travels this season with just 4 successes on the road. Oddly, two of those have come in the North East, with both Newcastle and Sunderland losing out. The players will look to dig deep for what could be Sven's farewell, and with Boro already guaranteed survival, I think this one will be an away win. 1-2
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Home Win
Portsmouth vs Fulham
Shooter : If you look at the table and home/away form for these two teams, it's a home win all the way. However, Pompey are likely to field a shadow team with the FA Cup final looming, and Fulham have won 3 of their last 4 to pull out of the drop zone. I think Roy's boys will pull off the Great Escape, but only just as cup-tied Defoe will be playing. 1-2
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : Fulham could pull off one of THE greatest escapes of all time if they can secure the victory at Fratton Park, which would guarantee their place amongst the elite for another season. Many expect Pompey to simply roll over and die what with the FA Cup final around the corner, but with Jermain Defoe hoping to go out with a bang, I think Fulham will simply just be too nervous and could rue an extremely-costly defeat. 2-1
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Away Win
Sunderland vs Arsenal
Shooter : The Gunners have won as many games on the road this season as leaders United, and are back on track after 3 wins on the spin. Sunderland's lack of quality is exposed against the big guns, and Prem safety means they'll have their foot off the gas. 0-2
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : The Black Cats have enjoyed a satisfactory first season back among the big boys, with their survival largely down to the best home record in the bottom half. OK, they have struggled when the big boys have come to town, but Arsenal are guaranteed third spot and this week learnt of the loss of midfield dynamo Flamini to Milan. I can see morale being sapped and I can see the Black Cats pulling off a shock home win. 1-0
Prediction : Home Win Actual Result : Away Win
Tottenham vs Liverpool
Shooter : There's little at stake in this one so it's a hard one to call. They're both coming into the Lane game off 1-0 wins, and with the 'last-day' feel to the game, it could be quite open. With the attacking riches of Torres/Keane/Berbatov on show, there could be a few goals, so I'm going for 2-2.
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : Expect both these sides to have a busy summer in the transfer market after seasons of contrasting fortunes, and although certain players may well have one mind already on the beach, I think this could prove to be one of the game's of the weekend. Berbatov will look to shine on what could be his White Hart Lane farewell and I expect him to bag in an entertaining 2-2 draw - a repeat of the scoreline at Anfield earlier this season. 2-2
Prediction : Draw Actual Result : Away Win
West Ham vs Aston Villa
Shooter : West Ham rolled over on to their backs and let United tickle their bellies in a gutless display at Old Trafford, so I think their heads are already on holiday. Villa, meanwhile, will be desperate to bounce back from the Wigan shock, and will want to win to ensure the pressure is on Everton to cling on to fifth place. 1-3
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Draw
Looter : Villa's shock defeat at home to Wigan last weekend may well have ended their hopes of ousting Everton for fifth. But in West Ham they face a defence which has looked more than a little suspect all season and with Ashley Young a master of delivery balls into the box and I expect Villa to edge this one thanks to a couple of set-pieces. 0-2
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Draw
Wigan Ath vs Man Utd
Shooter : You can build a solid case for Wigan getting a win or draw at The JJB to deny United title glory. They're used to playing on their cabbage-patch pitch, they're unbeaten in 5 games, and star winger Palacios is so good Sir Alex wants to buy him. But something tells me Steve Bruce would be banned from Old Trafford if a United win is not served up, and Ferguson would've taken this scenario - win at Wigan on last day, win the title - any day of the week last August. 0-2 for me
Prediction : Away Win Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : The conspiracy theorists among you might well expect Steve Bruce to hand victory on a plate to Sir Alex Ferguson, but the canny Latics chief is too canny for that. Wigan have played some great stuff off late and with both Palacios and Valencia reportedly under Sir Alex's watchful gaze, expect them to put on a decent show. But United will dig deep and just about secure the victory they require to confirm another Premier League crown. 1-2
