Man City vs West Ham
Shooter : City were ripped apart by a fab Gab hat-trick at Villa Park, so will be looking to unleash a backlash on the Hammers, who historically are quite good travellers in the Prem. West Ham started with a win, but I think Mark Hughes' boys will get off the mark in this one. 2-0
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : This is a match neither side dare to lose but whilst all City's problems are behind the scenes, most of the Hammers' concern the future of Alan Curbishley. City are light-weight in attack and may have to rely on youngster Ched Evans. That won't get you goals - so I'm opting for a narrow away win. 0-1
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Wigan Ath vs Chelsea
Shooter : A tough first home assignment for Latics, who are still licking their wounds from the West Ham defeat. Big Phil's 4-2-3-1 formation suits Chelsea's superstars perfectly, and in Cole, Deco, Lampard, Anelka etc they can score goals from anywhere. 0-3
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : Latics are yet to enjoy a success against the big four since their elevation to the top flight four seasons ago, and despite bolstering their options, seem unlikely to start here. Chelsea looked bright and breezy last week against Portsmouth and will hope to make it another win on a ground that saw them triumph here twice last season. 0-2
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Away Win
Stoke City vs Aston Villa
Shooter : Paddy Power paying out on Stoke to be relegated after one game was just nonsense. They showed v Newcastle in the FA Cup last season that they're a force at home, and will be a tough nut to crack this season. Villa are full of confidence and goals, though, and I reckon it'll be an entertaining 2-2 draw.
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : The Potters had a baptism of fire last week at the Reebok and will know they may need to take something from this with a tricky run of fixtures coming up. But Villa have started well and look more than capable of scoring a fair few goals. Stoke will battle hard, but there's no substitute for class. 1-3
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Home Win
West Brom vs Everton
Shooter : The Toffees came unstuck in the dying seconds against Rovers, and have still to bolster their playing staff. Albion, meanwhile, took heart from a 1-0 defeat by Arsenal, and have added the classy Valero to their ranks. They have fond memories of this fixture having stuffed Everton 4-0 last time they were in the Prem. 2-1 for me.
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : Both sides started with defeats last week and will want to get their first point or points on the board in this one. Albion will be roared on by a bouncing home crowd and could be facing an Everton team at just the right time. Arteta aside, this is one Toffees team who look set for a season of disappointments. 1-0
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Away Win
Blackburn vs Hull City
Shooter : The Tigers got their claws into Fulham for a first-day win, but Rovers are also buzzing after snatching the points at Goodison. Ince has a very attacking mindset, and I reckon Rovers have too much armoury to be humbled by Hull here. 3-1
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Draw
Looter : The Tigers might not be able to match the Arsenals and Man Uniteds of this league, but will not be short on effort. A win over Fulham last week will have done wonders for their belief and they are more than capable of pinching a point against Paul Ince's Rovers, who were a tad fortunate to nab all three points at Everton last week. 1-1
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Draw
Fulham vs Arsenal
Shooter : This will be a tough test of Arsenal's new young guns like Nasri, as Fulham will get their fair share of possession and have good attacking options in Johnson, Gera and Zamora. The Gunners looked good v Albion, but Fulham will bust a gut and pick up a point. 1-1
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : The Gunners were fairly comfortable in disposing of West Brom last week in their Prem opener, but seemed to lack a bit of a cutting edge up front. The pace of Walcott and the craft of Nasri will trouble Fulham, but Roy Hodgson's battlers will fight to the death and could punish the Gunners by grabbing a late draw. 2-2
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Home Win
Derby vs Southampton
Shooter : Derby have lost that winning feeling after last season's Premier League shambles, and are simply desperate for a victory. They'll take heart from a battling point at Bristol City, and face a Saints side who have played two, lost two. The Rams to raid three points. 2-1
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : It's not been the best start by either side this season, with Saints having lost both games and the Rams only having one point to their credit. Paul Jewell is still to win a league game since taking charge last November - but his long long wait looks finally set to end against a Southampton side who look destined for a torrid campaign. 2-0
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Away Win
Liverpool vs Middlesbro'
Shooter : In Torres, Liverpool now have a 'go-to man' for when the going gets tough on the road. At home, however, he can run riot and helped himself to a few home hat-tricks last season. With Keane alongside him, the Reds will be hard to keep out, and although I expect Boro to do quite well this season, they won't get anything here. 2 or 3-0
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : The Reds were made to look pretty average by Sunderland last week and will want a better display this time around before their CL second leg against Standard Liege. Expect Fernando Torres to be rested for this one with Keane and the returning Babel up front. It won't be a classic, but I'm edging towards a narrow Liverpool win. 1-0
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Newcastle vs Bolton
Shooter : One thing is for sure, Big Sam will be in the crowd to watch this Beauty vs the Beast affair having managed both clubs. The Toon took a point from United, while Bolton peppered the Potters on opening day - I've got a sneaky feeling honours will be even. 2-2
Prediction : Draw    Actual Result : Home Win
Looter : Both sides can take satisfaction from their performances last weekend and will go into this one with good heart. Newcastle have only made three major signings this summer in Guthrie, Coloccini and new crowd favourite Gutierrez, but they all look decent additions and I'm opting for a comfortable home win. 2-0
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Home Win
Tottenham vs Sunderland
Shooter : This will be spicy as half of the Spurs squad seems to have joined the Black Cats this summer. The Berbatov saga seems to be distracting Ramos' men - but I think they've got too much attacking prowess for Keane's battlers, and will pocket three points. 3-1
Prediction : Home Win    Actual Result : Away Win
Looter : You'd think Spurs would have tried to arrange it so that former favourites Tainio (if fit), Malbranque and Chimbonda weren't able to play in this one, but sadly, the powers-that-be at White Hart Lane did not bother. You can't but help think that might just come back to haunt them, and with the noble Steed the most offensive of the three, I think the 'Law of the Ex' might just be in play here. 1-2
Prediction : Away Win    Actual Result : Away Win
